Meet Our Advisory Board

  • Larissa Kimmel (Carbon-Monroe-Pike)

I work with Carbon Monroe Pike Mental Health and Developmental Services. I am System of Care Coordinator as well as I chair the Cultural Linguist Competency Committee and am part of the Children's Roundtable and subcommittees in each county.

I sought the coordinator position because I have worked with both families and social service systems for a number of years. Although our community services are not perfect, but there are a lot of compassionate individuals who strive to provide the best care and support to families, as well as, strong, involved families who are seeking what is best for their youth. System of Care provides the opportunity for service representatives, youth and families to join forces to seek solutions through gaining knowledge, connection, adapting policies and finding resources that fit our county's unique needs. I have a passion for connecting with others and seeking growth, knowledge and positive change.
